"Its so beautiful thankyou so much" Lauren & Harry
Lauren & Harry decided that nothing was going to stop them from getting married not even a global pandemic!
With limited numbers available to the day they wanted to be able to show close friends and family who couldn’t attend a snapshot of their day as well a create a memory that will last forever.
Bridal & groom preparations started early in the morning at their respective family homes. With both wanting the first time to see each other when Lauren was walking down the aisle it is always a privilege to be there for those final intimate family moments in the mornings.
Lauren travelled with the whole family to the registry office in Maidstone called The Archbishops Palace. The venue gets its name from its previous usage as a home from home for travelling archbishops from Canterbury. A historic 14th-century and 16th-century building on the east bank of the River Medway this venue was a beautiful setting.
The wedding a mark of the times with facemasks and social distance evident but the same love and promises as ever filled the room. After the ceremony the awesome photographer Rose Bainbridge saved the day when provided some beautiful confetti!
This was one of my favourite moments of the day to capture with great colours on show a real beautiful moment.
From there we travelled to the Secret Garden near Ashford. A really lovely venue with beautiful grounds in the heart of the Kent countryside.
With restrictions still in the place around social distancing the limited guest were treated to afternoon tea and something a bit different in the form of bingo which went down a storm.
The stunning cake which was actually a hand carved watermelon cake finished off the day for the guests and was certainly a welcome change after lots of pastries and cakes at the afternoon tea.
We then had some intimate moments with the couple portraits in the beautiful grounds. With sone lovely paths and natural green backdrops everywhere the photogenic backdrop provided a lovely conclusion to a beautiful day.
